Major Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the supplier quality activities both of Supplier APQP and Mass-production.
2. Support Global Program Launches
3. Ensure Supplier Product Development Process (SPDP) is executed to achieve flawless product launches and develop the supply base to zero defects capability.
4. Ensure APQP process is well implemented and proficient in the tasks required in SPDP.
5. Work with Engineering to strengthen Supplier Quality and Engineering relations and work practices.
6. Implement Nexteer Initiatives supporting the supply base.
7. Support MCIP’s project implementation.
8. Ensure production no risk when identifying the quality issues.
9. Challenge the 3L5Y / 8D from suppliers and ensure the action will be effective.
10. Integrate activities within buying organization to ensure consistent and appropriate mutual support.
11. For ranges of commodities respond quickly to any quality assurance issues, be aware of deteriorating or persistent problems, and act decisively to resolve it at a timely manner.
12. Coordinate and provide SQ training to suppliers, for example, NSA, NSR, Fast-X, Rework.
13. Develop and implement plans to achieve targeted objectives for TFS suppliers and or bad performance suppliers.
